These glider-based observations occur during construction activities that may include seabed preparation along cable routes and placement of scour protection at the foundation locations. The glider is also equipped with a CTD, a WETLabs FLBBCD ECO puck configured for simultaneous chlorophyll fluorescence and optical backscatter measurements, an Aanderaa optode for measuring dissolved oxygen, and a RXLive telemetry receiver.
