This project supports the deployment and real-time data delivery of autonomous underwater gliders in the coastal ocean to better resolve and understand essential ocean features and processes that contribute to hurricane intensification or weakening prior to making landfall. This high-resolution delayed-mode dataset contains measurements of temperature, salinity, density, chlorophyll a, CDOM, optical backscatter and oxygen concetrations.The glider was also equipped with an externally mounted Nortek Aquadopp Doppler Current Profiler.
