The program goal is to measure the seasonal-varying 1km-100km features of the Mid-Atlantic Cold Pool. The glider was deployed for Mission-10 from UMassD RV Lucky Lady at a site west of Gay Head Martha's Vineyard, MA. The glider is equipped with a CTD, WETLabs Scientific 3-channel puck and AAnderaa Instruments oxygen optode to measure chlorophyll a, backscatter, CDOM and oxygen concentrations. Glider BLUE will saw-tooth its way southward toward the western corner of the OOI Pioneer Array glider domain and then southwestward for about 100km and then northeastward to its deployment location.
